Baen Help?

I forgot my password to log into my Webscriptions account so I entered my email for a new password to be emailed to me and well it's been two days, I've tried a few more times and I still haven't gotten an email from them. I did check my spam folder and it's not in there.

has anyone else had trouble with emails from webscriptions? I'm debating on if I should call them or not. I just hate talking on the phone if I don't have to.

Try going to Baen's Bar (bar.baen.com) and see what that does. Arnold Bailey (who runs webscriptions) is also a member here under the name abailey so you could try sending him a PM.

They never seem to answer emails sent to the addresses on the web site. I did end up going to Baen's Bar, and someone said they'd forward my questions, but they are still unanswered. I love their books, but site maintenance and customer questions do not seem to be a priority for them.

I've sent them a couple of emails in the past; neither were answered so I've given up on them.

If you've got yahoo email, that's the reason. Yahoo decided to block all emails from Webscriptions (apparently too many people clicking "it's a spam" without thinking). Try emailing Arnold directly (abailey att webwrights.com). Or send him a PM here on Mobileread.

Not me, I can receive their newsletter just fine (although it could be because I have only redirect to gmail from my main account).

I get their newsletter emails just fine, I just can't get a response to emails to their customer support email addresses.

I'll try PM that one guy. Or call tomorrow. one disadvantage of having your ebooks stored on someone's site is if you forget your password and something like this happens you can't access your ebooks.
