2 IP Adresses, but only one wanted
My Calibre has 2 IP addresses for the wireless connection - how can I determine that only one of them is active?
Above all, I don't know where the second address comes from Last edited by ottischwenk; 11-14-2023 at 01:44 PM. |

There is a Tweak for what Ethernet port to listen on (intent was for computers with more than 1 Network) Do you have both WiFi and Wired connected. This may solve which to ONLY use

calibre listens on all IP addresses by default so you should be fine. As for whwere the 2 come from that will depend on the network setup on your computer. calibre simply reports whatever it finds.

Then just leave it as 0.0.0.0 you dont need to specify an interface.

When you open a command prompt and type ipconfig /all and hit enter, what does it show for the network adapters and their associated addresses?
Is another application already using the port & socket? Something like netstat -aon | findstr 9099 from a CLI session can help with this (substiture the port you are using with calibre for the 9099. You can use the PID at the end of the line to locate the other program if it shows. |
