Question A Wayback Machine Link to Download Old Kindle Version from Amazon?
Hi,

Looking for an old version of Amazon kindle compatible, like the ones mentioned in our forums here.

Found more than a few links on sort of B-list shareware sites. Felt uncomfortable. One even had the name of a virus in the wrapper?

Saw a link someone used via the Wayback machine that was able to download previous versions directly from Amazon.

What's the best old version of kindle I can use, and is it possible to find the download via the Wayback machine from Amazon? That's be best.

Or, a real 1st-trate download site you trust.

Just a reminder that old Kindle versions only work with books published before 2023; for newer books other methods must be used.

Better to use an Android Simulator (or an eInk Kindle that does azw3 and then download to "PC" for USB transfer).
