Viewer freezes, cannot open any book
I installed Calibre 6.24 on MX Linux, but the Viewer cannot open any book file. It tries to load the book and then freezes.

This will be problems with your GPU drivers. Update them or turn off hardware acceleration for Qt WebEngine as described in: https://doc.qt.io/qt-6/qtwebengine-debugging.html

Yes, it seems the issue is caused by open source nvidia driver - nouveau. With proprietary nvidia driver i don't have this problem.
