Transferring library from windows to Mac

I am trying to take an existing Kindle library from my windows computer and import it onto my Mac's calibre. When I export the library from my windows I get two files, both in "calibre-data" format, which does not seem to be recognized by calibre when I try to do the import on Mac. Am I missing something?
