Calibre's metadata matching for Kindle almost always gives me the printed version
Despite me having "prefer Kindle releases" checked, this feature consistently grabs the wrong release (printed version). The titles + names are the exact same as on Kindle, and it still has trouble. I'm trying to grab from Amazon JP (I have it set to Japan's servers).
Can there just be an option to completely ignore anything that isn't Kindle? For example, if the script tries to give me an ISBN, just discard the match entirely? This feature is pretty much useless to me with how poorly it performs. |

Did you supply an ASIN / ISBN?
If you did supply and it was for the Paper version, then that is what takes precedent. (try blanking identifiers) |
