Custom column for price paid for book?

Importing my amazon data and it includes a price column. How should I create one?
$###.##

Some books are free and some are $0.99

Should this be a tag or a number?

Not really looking to see another tag column.

I use floating-point number column with ${0:,.2f}



This does not appear in the tag browser.

If it's free, I enter $0.00. You can set this as a default if you want. (Note that you'll need to add a default to pre-existing books with bulk metadata edit.)

Me too. Well, £{0:,.2f} for my books.

Or, save processor power by just including the $, £, €, as part of the column title (text part, not the lookup)

I prefer to see

Price: £2.75

rather than

Price (£): 2.75
