Still working on fixing the mom's list to what she wants to see.
Currently she or I do this manually, but it would be nice to have the program do it automatically. Mom wants the leading A or The, or An from the Series names. She said the leading A, An or The in the series names confuses her. At 90 years old, I am just impressed that she took to reading eBooks so quickly. She is not computer savvy at all, in fact the only program she knows (and uses) is Calibre, which is impressive if you know my mom. Anyway, is there a way to have Calibre automatically remove the leading A, An or The from the series when it downloads the series & book information? |

There is a tweak for both Titles and Series:
You want Library Order Bookname, The You will need to recompute the sorts (you can update Title sort by selecting all, 'E' for bulk mode MDE and tick the box near the bottom. I think Series sort is automatic (I can't find a 'recalculate' method in the MDE or Manage Series) |
