Automation question

Hi everyone,

I'm pretty new to calibre and hoping there's things I can make a bit more automatic. Hoping to automate embed metadata, delete other formats after conversion, and empty trash.

Is there a way to automate any or all of these? Google is not looking promising, but it doesn't make sense to me to have to do it all manually.
