Emoji support
I've been reading an article via Pocket which made heavy usage of emojis. Unfortunately, they all were shown only as "X".
I thought I could add an emoji font, such as Noto Emoji, as "Supplemental font". But that didn't work. I could of course use Noto Emoji as my main font, but then I loose my main serif font. Any other ideas how I could make this work? |

I'd be interested in hearing if anyone has any thoughts on how to fix this. Supplemental fonts do usually work in Pocket, but for some reason the reader doesn't seem to notice that a glyph is missing when it comes to emojis.
The only workaround I know of is the one you've identified, setting your main font to one that supports emojis. I use Symbola which produces more readable text than Noto Emoji. |
