Glo Kobo Glo not turning on, is it bricked?

My Kobo Glo was working perfectly until two days ago, when I went to use it and found it with the restoring screen. At first I thought the recent firmware update caused the issue (either the kobo updated or the KOReader, which I use as my main reading system). So I reinstalled the firmware (I replaced the image of the system in the SD card), but right after the system opened, it got unresponsive and then the restoring screen came back.

Then I started to believe it was the SD card that got faulty. So I reinstalled everything in a new SD. But the issue continued, and from this point, I couldn't even get the device to turn on. I tried several SD cards but all I get, when I try to turn it on, is the blue led light on for about 10 seconds and then it doesn't turn on at all. Even the screen doesn't change.

I tried to reset with a paperclip, to do the restore reset (the power bottom + the light button reset) and nothing. Tried doing it plugged to the computer, to a wall plug and nothing. All I get is the blue light for a few seconds and then nothing. I read somewhere that this blue light alone indicates that the device is trying to turn on but the battery doesn't have enough power to initiate the system, and that I should try to unplug the battery and try to turn on the device plugged to a PC or to power. So I tried both but got the same blue led light for ten seconds and no more than that. So I concluded it was not the battery.

So seeing this scenario, would it be the case that my is dead for good, I mean bricked? Or still there's something I can do that I may be missing?
