Kobo Super Points program changing
I received an email from Kobo that the Super Points program is changing. If you have Super Points and wish to continue earning and using them, you will need to purchase a VIP membership by 2022-Sep-19. Otherwise, you will no longer earn points and will need to use your existing points by 2023-Aug-19. They are offering a code 50VIP to save 50% on the cost of the VIP membership.

Not seeing anything like that in my mailbox. Checked my Kobo points page too and there's nothing like it showing. But I'm a VIP member so maybe it's only a non-member thing?

I didn't get one either. It seems likely that if the the crux of the message is "no points unless VIP" there's no point in sending it to VIPs

I did get it in one of three accounts I have. None have VIP and I believe two have points or have at least earned and spent points prior to now.

So having VIP is only part of the mystery of not getting a notification about this.

All three accounts are US based and as much the same as they can be aside from purchases.

I never saw superpoints awarded unless you are a VIP member first?

VIP members get more points for the same purchase as regular members.

Edit: perhaps that should now be got since the program is changing.
