Thoughts on the Content Server

First post ever.
A little background. I have been a PW & Calibre enthusiast for over 10 years. My methods of upload were either USB or email. However, as it was time for an upgrade to my PW3, and with Kindle's new UI, I was ready to jump off the hamster wheel.

When searching for a new ereader my sticking points were email/no-account cloud access and the back button. I couldn't find an ereader to satisfy those requirements so I settled on a 7" tablet and shopped around for a new ereader app. Still wasn't terribly happy but I decided that it is what it is... I would just have to adjust and settle.

At the same time, I was having issues with the DeDRM on Linux and was stuck on a lower version of Calibre. I figured that since I was no longer using Kindle, I may as well put Calibre on a Windows machine and start over. It was then that I came across the content server and thought 'why not'?

OMG!!! The Content Server !!!

It took only a minute to setup. I logged onto the server and there they were-- all 10K books in my library waiting to sort, search, read or download. At first I downloaded a book, but then decided to try out the online reader. No joke, it is now my go to ereader. AND, on top of that, I can download books from the server to my PW!!

Huge shout out to the development team! I'm off to buy you guys a cup of coffee.
