Calibre can't send via Google using Less secure app

On May 30, Google disabled access to Less secure app access, as such Calibre can no longer send books (documents) to my Kindle on Amazon.

I am using Calibre V 3.48 in Ubuntu 16.04 (32bit)

Is there a plugin that can handle the new Google sign in method?

Thanks, Mark.

Turn on two factor authentication in gmail and create an app password and use that as your password in calibre for gmail

Or just use a non-gmail account / SMTP server. The problem with Google's app password scheme is it links ALL your google accounts and it doesn't actually solve any genuine security issue.

Also Google scans all mail sent using their SMTP.

An Outlook email account should do.
