All books collection?

A comment on this plugin that can create an all books collection in the latest KOReader: https://github.com/peterstamps/All_e...ew_on_KOreader -- says "From KOReader version 2025.04 this function is standard build in and it has much better and richer functionality"

I looked at the docs and the changelog but I must be blind, could someone point me to this new feature? I tried to use the "add folder" to my favorites collection but it added every file, including ._ metadata files, svg files and things that were not books...

In the Collection list long-press on a collection - Connect folder.
The collection will be updated once a book is added to the connected folder.
In the list of connected folders long-press on a folder to include subfolders.

Both "Add books from a folder" and "Connect folder" add only files that are treated as "books", i.e. can be opened by KOReader.

Well, I found that macOS ._ metadata files (I use a macbook to connect my Kobo) and SVG files (perhaps these could be considered readable as they may contain text) were added. Certainly ._ files are not readable by KOReader, perhaps I should post an issue on Github?
