Pass custom columns to another library

When I pass a book from the main library where it has custom columns and copy it to another, a banner appears to add the missing columns, I select them and that book is copied to the other library. But when I open the other library no matter how much I select the columns from preference when restarting they are disabled again.

I dont follow are you saying the new columns are created in the destination library but you cant make them visible?

Exact. They appear in preference/custom columns but do not appear on the main library screen. If I mark them they appear but when I restart they disappear again.

Are you saying you cant make any custom columns appear in this particular library? Try doing it directly without copy to library involved.

(that one bit me, I would 'fix' a setting and the next start

)

Thanks for the comment, I have disabled View Manager and everything works as it should.
