Howto update the database???
Hi folks,
I use Calibre on my PC to manage my ebooks. The local Calibre DB is automatically synchronised with my NAS. In order to be able to access the library with the eBook reader even without a running PC, I mounted the corresponding NAS directory on an RPi and started calibre-server. Accessing the books this way works without any problems. Now I have added a new book to the database. How do I have to set up calibre-server so that it re-reads the database (e.g. at regular intervals) so that I can also see the added books on the Reader? Thank you very much for the crucial advice. |

The way I understand it, calibre reads the database when it starts, so a change of the database by an other calibre instance will not be notified to your calibre app on your PC.
