Clara collections vanished
I have win 7 & Calibre 3, about 750 books. I created about 15 collections selecting books for each. Today I find only the 2 newest collections, the earlier collections all gone. The books are still there.

???

How did you create the collections? Through calibre or the device? Remember if you connect to calibre with Metadata Management set to automatic, the collections will be updated to match whatever is defined in calibre.

Re vanished collections
I created the collections on my Clara. I'd give it a name (Classics) and page thru the books clicking a + icon to add books. It worked and the collections were there and functioning.

The only change I've made was create a new Kobo account since my old email address was disabled.

The collections are associated with the account you signed into the device with. If you sign out and sign in with another account, you will need to make a new set of collections. The collections are synced to any Kobo device or app that are signed into the same account.
