HELP! Viewer and Covers still not working

I am using Calibre Linux via Chrome OS. I cannot get the covers for my books to show up for awhile now, and after I just upgraded to 5.34, now the e-book viewer doesnt work. If i double click on a book in Calibre, nothing happens.

I've tried the suggestions of updating the metadata then unplugging and plugging the device back in but nothing. Is there anything im missing??

Most likely your machine is missing required libraries. You can run calibre-debug -w from a terminal to get more details on why the viewer wont start.
