Viewer locks up when trying to type devanagari in Search
I'm currently reading The Jungle Book in Hindi, and opened it in the viewer for the first time since I had to do a system restore some months ago. So the viewer treated it as "first read" I tried to type in a word from the place I'm up to on my Kobo, using my default devanagari IME, Baraha. The viewer crashed, each and every time I tired. If typed the word in a Libre Office document and then copied and pasted it, the Search functioned properly.

This will be some incompatibility between your IME and Qt. I'm afraid you will just have to use copy/paste as a workaround or try a different IME, this is not something in calibre's control.

That's fine, thanks for the quick response. I'm not going to be searching devanagari often anyway.
