convert portable settings to installed

I've been using the portable version fine, but it's only 32bit. I've been using the portable for a number of years now, but want to switch to 64bit, but there's no portable version of. I'm thinking of switching to the full 64bit program, but how/where do I migrate my settings and plugins so I'm not starting all over again?

Install 64 bit calibre--do not launch calibre.

Using file manger open calibre portable and find the folder Calibre Settings, copy the contents of Calibre Settings then paste into the folder C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\calibre.

Answer yes when it asks if you want to replace files

Now copy your library to your C: drive open calibre and point to your library.

Alternately you can download the 64-bit installer, extract the files with something like lessmsi or msiexec on the command prompt and drop it all into the \Calibre subfolder.

I use the 64-bit installer and then use the Advanced option so that I can tell it to install its binaries into the Calibre portable binaries folder overwriting the files already there.
