Calibre viewer only shows cover page

Hi. There was a closed thread with this topic from 2020 and it got nowhere, so I´m posting this again.

I guess I messed up installations, but cannot have viewer loading the whole book, only the covers. Editing is ok. I have a Windows 10 64 bits running latest calibre.

Can anybody help?

If the viewer does not present the book, there is something wrong (fails validations) with it.
The Spine must contain the progression thru the files (chapters).
Use the Editor ('T') and debug (the bug icon) to see what it says

What happens when you press page down in the viewer?
