Default Server Panel

Hello All!
This isn't a big deal, but it has been bothering me for a while...
Is it possible to access a certain Book List Mode by default on Calibre Server?
The server seems to default to "Cover Grid which corresponds to image cover displays without any description.
True, this can be changed during access from "Cover grid" to "Detailed list" through "book list mode", but one needs to know how to do this.
I'd prefer the page default display to be "Detailed list" for users who aren't necessarily familiar with the interface.

seems to work when passed as a URL, i.e. these just display the "Cover grid" page with the option to change view to "Detailed list" if one knows how to get there. I'd like "Detailed list" to be the default view displayed by the server.

I'm using Linux Mint with Firefox, but the above seems to hold true for all of the OS / browser combinations tried.

You can choose the default book list mode in the server preferences under advanced.

Interestingly,
the former solution does not work for me. Changing server display options through the GUI and restarting the server gives the cover grid interface regardless of the option selected.
Adding the switch "--book-list-mode details_list" to the service start file does change the server display behaviour as described.

Actually, either solution works, depending on how the content server is started.
If started from calibre, the GUI options are used. If the content server is started as a stand-alone service without the main calibre program running, the CLI switches seem to override any settings in the GUI.
