pdf in cybook

I am a student, and make a lot of "word" documents, with a lot of highlighting, notes, etc. Since I have the Cybook I often converted these documents to mobi documents, but obviously lost all the formatting. An other option was to use pdf but this didn't work neither. But now what I use the pdf creator, and print the document in A6 format, which is about the size of the cybook screen, which allows me to format it the way I want, keeping all the highlighting, notes and everything, apart from the fact that it also shows the page numbering, exactky the way I printed it in the same size...

Could you please let us know what kind of pdf-creator you are using?
It sounds very interesting!

It works like a printer, and to use it, f.i. in word, you just "print" it, and in options you can choose which format to use. The A6 format is the closest one to the cybook screen.

Can't you use a custom format and set it to 9x12cm? You can with most printers/drivers/converters.

I've tried it with this one but it does not have this option (at least I haven't found it), but I'm sure there are pdf converters who can do this. I've been using this one for years, it's free and usually more than sufficient for my needs so I haven't really been looking around for other ones. If anyone has another option please tell so.

For now though the way I have been doing it works great, to see the whole page without problems the reader will show it in 87% zoom, you cannot change the font size obviously, so when you "print" the page choose font sizes which are slightly larger than the ones you are comfortable with. I have been printing out with 12 arial, which shows apr. as 10 arias which is fine.

But... having said all the previously, and looking around, I work with Office 2007, and there is the option to save your files directly in pdf. So I have tried the next: configurating the page you choose the 10 x 12 size, and after that you just save it as a pdf file. I have reduces the margins to just 4 mm, it shows the page numbers, the bold and underlined fonts, the highlighting and all.

For instance in a "word" document. I'm sorry if I don't express correctly.

Just so you know, the normal way to say "for instance" in written English is to use the abbreviation "e.g.", which is short for the Latin expression "exempli gratia" - "for the sake of an example".

Thanks

As we say in Spain: "Nunca te levantarás sin saber una cosa más" (And I don't know how to translate this)

The English equivalent would be "you learn something new every day" .
