Is there any way to check this from within Calibre? I considered setting up a custom column for it, but I'm not sure if there's any way to automatically populate that.

Mostly for in-progress fanfics that I'm reading on my Kobo. Occasionally I forget to re-upload them when they update.

No, there isn't.

But, this is what I use a send-to-device Reading List for. When I add a book, or change it, I add it to the list for the device I want it on. When I connect the device, the books are sent and the list is cleared. If you are using FFF to get your fanfic, it has an option to add books to these lists.

IIRC Device view shows the (device FS) date (assumes the devices date is set. Note: Kobo e-ink (and I assume some others) do not use LOCALE, so there may be an offset between your system and device

I plugged my Kobo in and checked. The date column was hidden on mine (I probably did that and forgot about it) but I put it back. Thank you.
