Should auto-convert be working on books uploaded through the web UI?
Currently if I add books through the GUI, they convert to my preferred format. However, if someone uploads a book through the Web UI it does not appear to auto convert. Is this expect behaviour?

yes there's no autoconvert setting for the web server.

You can open feature requests as described here: https://calibre-ebook.com/bugs however this is not something I am in favor of implementing, since you can simply convert on demand as needed.
