The latest firmware allows you to jot notes on Kobo eReader

I don't know if people are awared of this:

If you type devmodeon into the search, then go to the setting/beta features, you will see a Sketchpad function that allows you to write notes or draw with your finger.

Currently it only allows you to save a single note. Is there a way to hack this app for multiple save? This app can be so useful, if Kobo developed it further into a full-fledge notepad.

(I am using the H20 Edition 2 Btw, maybe it's not available in all Kobo?)

Actually sketchpad is an old old application on Kobos. I'm not sure at what point it was removed from the standard set of beta features

Oh I didn't know that, I bought my Kobo a year ago. Being able to write on the screen of a regular eReader is really impressive to me, why didn't Kobo developed it further? Sony's eInk Sketchpad cost like $1000.

The x50 line of Sony's ereaders had the Sketchpad function, I don't know about their other ereaders. You could save as many different drawings or notes as you wanted and edit them, you weren't limited to just one. It was a nice feature and worked very well.

kobo sketchpad lets you do more than one sketch.
Open it, save it, first one saves as sketch.png
Close it and reopen, it'll be blank, and when you save, it saves as sketch1.png

Also, your sketches show up in my books, and if you hold press, there's an edit option so you can go back and re-edit after you close. It doesn't seem to let you edit other PNGs in your library though.
