Just updated to 4.0 now Calibre Freezes when trying to edit preferences

On Windows 10 Pro 1903, Intel i7-8700 3.2Ghz 16Gig Ram 64 Bit.

Installed 4.0 now I cannot open Preferences without Calibre interface locking up. Any solutions out there? How do I return to previous version without loosing library?

Uninstall
That never touches settings nor Libraries

Thanks, uninstalled and reinstalled latest 3.xx version. All is well. I will wait for 4.0 bugs to be worked out. Love this program! Thanks to developer. By the way, I was trying to get into preferences in order to prevent the content server user from being able to modify book content or even remove books. I didn't want that feature available remotely and it was on default install even though previous version didn't allow it. All is well now. Thank You.

AFAIK the default content server is READ ONLY. You must create a user account in Sharing over the net
