New Calibre getting around

Hi just downloaded calibre 4.0 . the older version one could just scrool to any point in book . it seems to have disappeared with this version?? If I want to goto 1% read to middle i cant seem to scroll to it the scroll bar on side seems to be missing

Yes there is no scrollbar, simply hold down the pagedown key if you want to scroll quickly. Its on my todo list to add an optional scrollbar at some point.

And if you want to jump to defined locations in the book use the Goto function or the Table of Contents, or search

FWIW: Ctrl+PgDn and Ctrl+PgUp will skip to next/previous sections (chapters)
