Dropbox not syncing files

Hi,

I've got a onyx boox note 10.3. I've synced bound my dropbox account in "account management" but nothing gets synced. I see you can install dropbox (from google play or from app store) but this does not make sense to me. I would expect it to be working out-of-the-box.

What am I missing?

Dropbox has limited device number to 3. Maybe that's why?
