This is my first book.

Having peeked on the other GameLit author, I wish I could say this was my twelfth. I'm trying to expand my social media presence, like many authors I'm more into reading and writing than being social.

Mine is Young Adult GameLit. Smaller stakes, smaller action. No world domination plots here.

What is “GameLit”?

GameLit is the sub-genre of fiction where playing games, being part of a gaming community, or just game mechanics are just part of the plot or world.

Usually they have some sci-fi and fantasy elements.

Ready Player One is probably the most notable in recent years.

You also have portal fantasy or even straight up fantasy worlds where things like game mechanics are part of the magic or power system of the world.
