Move books from a calibre library (friend) to my library

Hello,

I wish I could copy books from my friend's calibre library to mine.
How do I proceed?

"Thumbdrives", SD cards. I assume your friend would be in on this with you.

If you copy the ENTIRE library folder to that thumb drive: (

Create/Switch:Use Existing)

IMHO one of the best ways to keep things intact
Simply switch to that Library: Right-click on selected books: Copy to Library:<select yours>

Or, if you want to be more selective, use Save to Disk function. It can be set up to save wherever you want - folder on desktop, or external storage, and to save only one format if you so choose. More time-consuming, though.
