Store to buy in the US?

Im due to travel to the US in october and would love to take advantage of the pound vs dollar... is there a store that would sell the new digital reader I can pick one up from? I know borders in the UK sell the book edition, does/will borders in the states sell the new readers?

I'm not aware of any physical stores in the US who sell iRex products, unfortunately. Borders in the US sell the Sony Reader.

There are no physical stores that I'm aware of that stock the iLiad or the new machine. Ereader outfitters (http://www.ereaderoutfitters.com/index.php) is the official vendor in the U.S. If you contact them you may be able to arrange some kind or purchase while you're here. Good luck. I'm not affiliated with them in any fashion, but I have done business with them in the past and they have been top notch to work with.

I agree ereaderoutfitters does an excellent job. When there are questions they stay with you until they are resolved. The owner was emailing while he was on vacation making sure I was happy with the results.

If you don't have an address then you might be able to visit a UPS store and setup for delivery. Not sure how that would work but worth checking out.

Depends on the dollar price. At the moment it is bad (in an Euro perspective), but it is predicted that the dollar will find himself at 1,75 $/Euro or less at the end of the year.
