new Kepler Pro?
Is there a newer version of Kepler Pro with front page turning buttons (as in on the base Kepler-based Monte Cristo 3)? I'd rather get a Cortex CPU reader than Freescale one with half the RAM if the price difference is insubstantial.

If there is -- who sells/stocks it?

It would appear that Onyx-Boox is officially releasing the front-button version, with half the memory and storage, and without Bluetooth, as the "Kepler" (non-Pro). This appears to be close to indistinguishable from the (original) Monte Carlo. It is up on both the Onyx International website and their TMall store (77% of the price of the K-Pro).

Banggood has the Kepler Pro for $199US and the Kepler for $189US.
