Scratch on screen
Somehow I have scratched one of the screens on my Kindle Fire, I am looking for a way to fix the damage. I have many tablets and this is the first time I have made a noticeable scratch on a screen.

Is the Kindle Fire screen plastic or glass? Any help will be appreciated.

I have some very, very fine rubbing compound but wonder if there is a filler somewhere.

I strongly suspect that anything you do to it will only make it look worse. Does it show up when the Fire is switched on? My iPhone screen is a maze of fine scratches due to being in my pocket with keys, coins, etc, for three years, but they don't show up at all when I'm actually using it.
