I’ve received 2 emails now, asking me to do an online survey. It wouldn’t take long, they say. No incentive whatsoever to do it, however.

Well, Kobo, if you offered a discount coupon for doing the survey, I would happily do it. My time is worth something. Please show some respect and appreciation for it. 😊

I have had companies offer Amazon gift cards for doing surveys. I think one of our utilities or something did that once.

Amazon gift cards are as good as cash to me, so...

A lot of companies will offer to put your name in a draw for a monthly prize from that company if you complete a survey.

The possibility of winning a free KA1 or similar prize just might tempt a few people to give up a couple minutes of their time.

Most surveys do sweepstakes or coupons or some kind of compensation. Amazon and Kobo doesn't think it's necessary. Although I have taken surveys related to both through a survey company and gotten a small amount. Around 50 cents usually. Direct surveys never got anything but more surveys.
