Clicked Browse all downloaded books and got this

I was looking for a way to delete downloaded books. Can that be done from within the calibre server browser, if not not where are they, and can I delete them with my file manager.

Aside : I find I'm having to clear the Firefox browser cache rather too often, so I've installed the Clear Site Cache extension. Could be because I'm still 'experimenting'.

You can delet downloaded books by opening them, accessing the controls and clicking download. I know this is not quite ideal. It's on my TODO list to add both the ability to search/sort and perform actions such as delete directly from the view all downloaded books page.

The error comes because you have your book list mode to details instead of cover grid -- I forgot to add handling for detailed list in that view, will be fixed in the next release.

Found it - but from where is it deleting the file - browser profile, temp?

When you read a book, it is downloaded from the server and stored in IndexedDB storage. Deleting it deletes it from that storage. Where exactly that storage is located depends on the browser/OS/etc.

Has Google been hacked in your neck of the woods

Click Options->Advanced->Offline Web Content and User Data->Clear.

There's probably an extension to clear selectively, and I think you can do that via the developer's console.
