Pilgrim's Progress: One Man's Search for Eternal Life—A Christian Allegory by John Bunyan (Wikipedia) is his classic 17th century allegorical novel, free courtesy of Christian publisher Baker's Revell imprint.

The preface to this says that it is the "Puritan Edition of Pilgrim's Progress", and gives a bit more on the provenance of the versions (apparently revised throughout Bunyan's lifetime) used to create this one. There's also a very brief set of explanatory footnotes for some of the words whose meanings have changed over time, and a quickie bio of the author.
