Debug Kindle Voyage + News?

What is the best way to debug the news? If I download the NYTimes Web Edition, with a limit set to 50 articles per section, the 'highlights' overview panels become non-responsive and are even missing sections. Eventually, the reader will crash. Clicking on the section header (e.g. World) sometimes fails to go to that grouping.

I had to restart my kindle after hitting the application error.

I can do some of the debugging legwork if I knew the right place to start.

I doubt there is anything to debug, likely the file is simply too big for the device -- but you can feeel free to try -- how the conversion pipeline works is in the user manual as well as how to setup a development environment https://manual.calibre-ebook.com/develop.html

Thanks! I kinda thought "too big" would be the answer. I don't know the specs on the Voyage for what it can handle... time to make recipes for each section I guess
