Backup possibility
Hi. Is it possible to create an image or clone in some way the whole drive unit of my kobo aura one (is not limited edition)?
I would like to patch the firmware and I want to have an backup it if the things go wrong

I don't believe there is a way to take an image of the storage of the Aura ONE. But, you don't need to. Just connect the device to a PC and take a copy of everything on the visible partition. If you need to do a factory reset, you can restore this afterwards.

I wonder if you could connect over telnet, fsfreeze the filesystems, then pipe the internal sd with netcat to the computer? I'll try this when I get a chance and see if it works.
