ePub error on GooglePlay

I updated to the newest version of Calibre last night. I'm getting an error from GooglePlay that I've never seen before. (I've done about 90 books with them.)

Required: Fix Image Issue in ePub
Misc/preview.wmf

Sigil is showing this on line 11 of each split:

<link href="../Misc/preview.wmf" rel="Preview" />

I tried deleting it in each split and Google is still rejecting it. It's passing the ePub validator check.

Any advice?

does EPUB2 support WMF?

That may be why Sigil has it under Misc instead of Images.

(GP may be rejecting the book because it has a non-compliant format.

I don't have any images in the document. It's a standard text-only word doc in Times Roman that I saved as an htm to move to Calibre.

That's what's confusing me.

@KimGuidroz - does the document have a 'cover image'?

You could try saving it as DOCX and getting calibre to convert that to EPUB, or maybe use the DOCX Import plugin for Sigil.
