Is there a way to make the Calibre Library scroll using your finger on the touchscreen? Right now it just highlights all of the books as your finger passes over them.

No, the only part of calibre that has support for touchscreens is the viewer.

On my win 10 tablet I use the Cover Browser with the "show cover browser in a separate window unchecked" in preferences--look and feel.

Best compromise I have come up with.

Use the scroll bar. That will scroll the screen.

It's on my TODO list to add support for gestures to the booklist. It should not be too hard since it can re-use most of the gesture recognizing code from the viewer. But, given that my TODO list stretches to the moon...

The scroll bar tends to be overly sensitive when I am trying toi browse through my library.

I understand. I find it amazing that you are able to make as many improvements as you do.
