Onyx T76 Plus with Carta screen?

I've read this article http://the-digital-reader.com/2016/0...-e-ink-screen/

The Onyx T76 Plus seems an upgraded version of T68 Plus: 1gb memory, 8gb internal storage and carta eink screen. It sounds cool!

What do you think about it?

I have one (as well as two regular T68).

The screen on the new T76 Carta clearly has a higher contrast, when placed side-by-side with my old T68. The front-light is much weaker. Everything else appears to be exactly the same.

Hi Afainber. Thanks a lot for your message. What about touchscreen accuracy of the T76? My T68 works well, but the touchscreen has always been the most problematic aspect, how you can see here https://youtu.be/B_2u75ofmgY

I was lucky to have decent touch screen accuracy on my two T68 devices, but the accuracy on my T76 is even better.

Afainber, only one question. I've noticed on Onyx International that the link of the last firmware (1.7.5) is offline : where do you get the last firmwares for T76?

I installed the latest firmware for the T68 on it and it works well.
The T68 KitKat firmware does not work on it though No Wifi or Bluetooth

I'd love a reader that can support audio as well, which the new Keelpler 6" doesn't so I was looking either at this one (for the 6,8" screen) or the C67ML Carta2.

If anyone has (had) both these devices, which one they think is better in terms of everyday usability?

Apart the screen size, the specs says 1GB RAM for the T76 but quite a smaller battery than the Carta2 one. Is the 1GB RAM a great improvement while using the reader, or does the 500MB one of the Carta2 does its job just as well? How much the battery life of the T76 lasts on a moderate use (reading and audio, without Wi-Fi)? Are there many software differences in terms of usability and app managing?

Also the T76 seems to have quite a large bezel, home button and all. How much portable is it, in relation to, say, the Aura H2O?

my main concern is on the cpu.
it states that T76 still use a single core 1ghz cpu, same as T68, while c67 carta 2 use a dual core one.
i am quite curious to know if there is significant difference.

btw, i will go for the c67 carta 2 for this reason. smoothness in usage is my main concern. also i am afraid t76 will be less portable than c67. i hope i am right.
