The only way to save highlights for books that were not purchased from Amazon is to send them to your "Amazon e-mail" (service send-to-kindle). So it will treat them as documents, but it will save them in cloud so as like your highlights.
On new kindle you just enter cloud, download same books - all highlights will be visible. For your books it's too late but you can do it for further reading. |
