Help 2 Questions

Hi I'm new to using Calibre and i have 2 Questions.

Question 1) Is there anyway to change the number setting in the series category. When i edit my books the series book number is in standard format but when you click on the book the series category shows the book number in Roman numerals and i really would prefer it in the stranded format.

Question 2) Is there anyway to add category's to Calibre i have a lot of Fan fiction i want to put in Calibre. So i wanted to add category's and but in single books and series. I know you can do this with tags but i have so many tags and not even half of books put on yet.

I would be most gratefully for any help.

If you use the FanFicFare plugin to download and add your fanfiction to calibre, there is a builtin method for downloading and transforming metadata to create the tags you want.
(Ask on the FanFicFare support thread -- all I use the plugin for is to turn a few fanfictions into ebooks, I handle all my tags by hand.)
