Troubleshooting My Kindle Paperwhite 2015 won't turn on.

Hey.
I have Kindle Paperwhite 2015 and today I tried to open some book. However, the Kindle just froze so I tried to reboot it by holding the power button.
Unfortunately, my precious Kindle started going on and off - the screen wont ever turn on but the backlight turns on and off every 2-5 seconds.
I made a contanct with Amazon.com support and I am going to have a new one but I dont think it is a very good soloution( even though having a new one is amazing)

I wanted to ask you you something.
what can I do with my new Kindle so I wont ever encounter that problem?
warranty will not last forever.

Did you talk to a tech? or just a CS person who knows nothing LOL A tech could have told you whats wrong & How to keep it from happening again.

At the beginning I was talking to a CS person and afterwards I was moved to a tech. Nobody told me what was wrong. They just sent me a new one.

For one thing, don't load that same eBook on the new Kindle.

Most likely Factory Defect of some kind. Why he couldn't figure it out over the phone or chat.

I have a ebook that on my Fire Phone goes from Cover to White then back to cover blink of an eye! Yet on my K4PC app & My K3 works great... go figure. [book didn't come from Amazon]

Anyway I wouldn't worry about it being your fault.

It was Oxford A-Z Dict' that it is there by default.

OK. Thanks you. May it be a factory defect if it happend after 4 months of use?

Near the time of the incident, I used to spend less time in my Kindle, may it be a damaged battery due to my inconsistent behavior?

If you let the battery go completely flat, that could be why it's no longer functioning. Be sure to charge it up every few weeks whether you are using it or not.
