how to use sigil to make images fill the ereader entire screen?
hello
i have a epub file of only images, i put it in my ereader and the bottom is occupied by page xx of xx, i was told that i could use sigil to make the images fill the ereader screen but I don't know how. Could anyone tell m how? thank you |

You can use this plugin to insert all images wrapped in an SVG element. The SVG element scales the image to the readers resolution.

The short answer is, no, you can't. You can't use Sigil to hide your reader's progress indicator. You might be able to make images fit the available space (like using the method rubeus suggested), but Sigil has no control over what indicators, progress bars, and other menu items remain visible while reading. Those are functions of the reading device/app and not the book.

hunkle: As you have a Kobo Touch, there are some hidden options to remove the page indicator. Have a search for "FullScreenReading" in the Kobo forum. Also, there are patches to the firmware that can reduce the space taken by the footer and many other changes. Again, visit the Kobo forum.

I use a Fire tablet. While images can be zoomed to fill the entire screen, any width="100% will succeed in expanding it only to the normal text area, i.e. with a small margin all around.
