RICE WORKS!!

On the 22nd my son did a Load of Laundry. He Left his Cell Phone in his pants pocket! He took it apart covered the parts in a bowl of Rice! Forgot about it. 3 days later when I asked if it was broken, he put it together! IT WORKS!!!
So If you get your electronic things wet...even soaked in a washing machine BTW Front Loader to boot! Pack it in Rice! Then Enjoy!!

Oatmeal works better, and there are desiccants that are even better than that.

I can confirm from experience that a cheapo Nokia phone can go through an entire toploader cycle and tumble dryer, and come out looking none the worse for wear (and rather cleaner than before). Couldn't believe my eyes.

I am glad it worked for you, but nothing worked for me. I am an engineer and it offended me that I couldn't get an LG to work again after a wash, though as a point of pride, I kept trying and trying.
