Cool Very Very Thin White Line Across Screen

So sad about this, but I must have 'banged' it etc, but the end result is a very very thin white line across the screen. My question, will this spread to all over the screen, or will it stay 'as is' so to speak. If it's the latter I might as well start saving for a new one soon. I am really hoping that if the line stay the same I can continue to use it. At the moment it works 100% in all it's functions.
Advice please if there is any chance it will stay the same.
Thanks.

Contact Kobo as this sounds very much like a screen controller problem.

Thank you 'jswolf', I contacted Kobo and they said it is a fault. I got an exchange at the retailers, who did not seem bothered. I think they where a bit frantic and just took it off me and gave me a new one. Kobo sent confirmation emails to cover me if the company had not believed me.
Having never dealt with Kobo Help before, I was expecting the worst and got the best.

Glad it all worked out. A broken screen is completely different. A screen controller fault is something like your line.
