Is Kobo WiFi good enough for today's standards?

Would Kobo WiFi be good enough for today's standards? I want to buy an Ereader with physical buttons and Kobo Wifi seems satisfying.

You'd be hard pressed to find one that is going to last any length of time - they must all have end of life or near end of life batteries by now. The screen is very subpar, the device is slow, the fonts limited - even the button pad, that you're buying it for, are pretty rubbish.

A lot of people like the haptic buttons of the Kindle Voyage; you could maybe look out for a secondhand Nook with buttons (if you're in the USA) or one of the older Kindles (again, subpar screen tech); you could consider the non mainstream readers like Onyx or Pocketbook; or you could see if your requirement for physical buttons is truly a requirement. I really can't recommend buying a 2010 ereader.

Thank you very much for your answer. I don't mind buying a non mainstream Ereader, as long as it is not low quality. The touch screen is not very convinient for me, since the slightest touch changes the page or opens the menu etc. If there's a good and cheap, if possible, Pocketbook model, I can consider buying it.

I have one and, though it is slow by today's standards -- it's not unusable. The fonts and screen don't seem that bad to me.

But if I wanted a non-touch eReader I would be much more inclined to go with a Kindle 4 NT -- much faster, more features and more and clearer fonts. Of course, that's assuming your not specifically looking for an ePub Reader.

Well, that's exactly what I'm looking for. I would buy one if it could read epubs.
